Since I never had to use it, I wouldn't know how good it actually is. Its hard to give 5 stars when you don't get to use it. But I'm glad I didn't have to use it as well. :)

At our ages, we need to have our backs covered while we travel. Your AXA Assistance USA Silver policy provided the assurance that we need not worry about possible health issues on our trip, and you did this at a reasonable cost.. Thanks for the help.

My wife had medical problems and required hospitalization as well as a medical return flight. Dealing with AXA to get moved to a different hospitalization and then to get a medical flight home was a nightmare. They said we just need the attending physician to confirm that she is stable enough to fly but not strong enough to go on a commercial flight. That was done an then seven days later they were able to arrange a flight. The company that flew us home said that when they were finally contacted it took twenty minutes to put the pieces together, not seven days.
It almost appears that they were just waiting and hoping that the patient would either die or become too weak to fly on a medical flight.
In addition, they do not seem to have people capable of speaking foreign languages. They should not be in business.

Didn't need it, thank goodness, but it was more economical and covered as much or more than the expensive plans offered by the cruise and tour companies. Will definitely use this company the next time we travel.

The insurance was fine, but the costs are based upon age (which is the only easy thing you can base it on). So for us, who are in very good health and physical shape for our age (which allows us to do bicycling vacations around the world), the price seems unfairly high. But I realize that you can't do a complete medical evaluation on your customers.

We had to cancel our trip, but our claim was processed promptly after all the required documents were provided. I rebooked the trip for next year, will use the same plan again.

Although I did not need to file a claim, it was comforting to know that I had this insurance in the event I had to cancel my trip. It was the most highly rated and reasonable costing plan of all those investigated.
