Thankfully we didn't have to file a claim on this trip, but we have in the past and have always received fair, prompt payment. I will continue to purchase this coverage for all our trips.

I had to cancel trip to UK unexpectedly. Cancel for any reason plan allowed for nearly full refund. Everyone who I spoke with was very courteous and professional and the process was surprisingly simple. Will be using for all future trips.

I'm grateful that I did not have to use the coverage, so I cannot comment on whether the company was good or not. (Which might be one of the more important considerations). I always choose carefully to ensure the plan will adequately cover things that are most important to me. This plan had it all and gave me peace of mind.

InsureMyTrip was very helpful in assisting me w/choosing the best plan for my circumstances. I especially appreciated the fact that an actual human always promptly answered the phone. =) My husband got a new job so we had to cancel our trip, and luckily we had purchased the "cancel for any reason" plan. Global Alert was extremely helpful and quick to follow up. The paperwork was very straight forward and easy to complete. It took about a month for me to actually receive the different checks, but I was expecting it to take awhile to process. Great experience; will purchase again!

I cancelled my trip the morning before my flight and Global Alert would not refund my money even though I provided proof of cancellation and did not file any claims. I would not use this company again for any future trips that I have planned.

Unfortunately you must cancel your trip before the departure date on your policy and show proof of no claims and no penalties to be able to use this policy for another trip. If you had canceled within the 10 day free look you would've received your monies back less the administration fee.Sep 04,2012

Bad disclosure and inconsistent disclosure about whether or not I needed to register and send proof of actual expenses to the company prior to the trip. I received different answers to that question the two times I called. Company also seems to play a game of "gotcha", about revealing full cost of trip, and what is necessary to disclose/insure.
