The plan fits the lives of seniors on Medicare plus supplemental. We purchased the insurance several months before our trip. Due to death in family, we cancelled the trip and we were able to recoup travel expenses but we were not permitted to cancel and happy for reimbursement of paid medical insurance. Medical insurance can only be cancelled within a few days of payment. Consequently, we will not purchase insurance until a day or two before our next trip so if something unexpected occurs, we can request reimbursement. We would have been happy with a credit as we are currently planning another out of the country trip and need medical coverage.

Did not use the plan. Have to use any current insurance coverage first. Would like to know just how much these companies pay out per dollar of premium collected. Just think the costs are unnecessarily high.

The plan itself was reasonably priced and had good coverage compared to others. I had done a fair amount of research, and this plan was the one that seemed highest rated and most affordable. I was relieved when I found it, and I had a sense of confidence with it in place. Since I didn't have any need to use it, because my trip went well, I don't really know how to rate any service that might be provided.

Extensive coverage at a low cost. Did not file a claim due to an uneventful trip accident wise. Therefore unable to assess claims handling issues. Nevertheless very satisfied knowing insurance was in force.
