Good to have a medical plan while traveling outside the of the United States, since Medicare does not cover outside of the U.S. Have used InsureMyTrip for several years when I go to Canada, as I do every summer around this time period.

The plan can be amended as you add expenses onto the trip. At first, I was confused as to who to contact for updating the policy. As it turns out, you go through InsureMyTrip. Even though I added to the policy, the overall price came out to be the same as if I had initially purchased coverage for the entire trip.
