The TravCan Premier plan is the higher-end comprehensive trip cost protection plan from InsureAssist as it offers greater coverage limits and more options than the TravCan plan. If you are concerned about any pre-existing medical conditions that might affect your travel, this plan will waive the pre-existing conditions exclusion if purchased within 21 days of the initial trip payment and if the full cost of the trip is insured.

Purchasing process was easy - spoke to a knowledgeable telephone representative who helped explain the difference between several plans. Sine we did not have to file a claim, it is hard to rate the coverage, but felt better knowing it was there if we needed it!

We were all set to go on our trip when cancer struck and we were forced to cancel. I can not say enough good things about the customer service and speed in which they handled our claim. Had wallet with passport stolen in Java; claim filed when home for lost expenses of pre-paid trip, travel to replace passport including airfare, hotel, meals. limit on per day so able to recoup only a portion. That said, very happy with the customer service representatives I spoke with each time. Would definitely use again, but tweak my coverage now that I have had to use it.
