The plan was expensive for the coverage received and I was disappointed my local agent could not handle writing the policy. I was also disappointed that I received no discount since we have house, car, boat, life and umbrella policies with Nationwide. Where's the benefit and quid pro quo for giving all our business to Nationwide?

The Nationwide Mutual Insurance Luxury Cruise is an upper echelon plan with robust benefit limits, and the premium reflects this. Unfortunately, Nationwide is unable provide a discount on travel insurance for multi policy customers due to insurance regulations. Lastly, the Nationwide travel insurance plans sold on InsureMyTrip are retail plans which can only be purchased online. Our cruise canceled an Israeli port a week prior to departure. I filed a claim with Nationwide Mutual prior to leaving, and the check was awaiting me when I returned home. Customer service couldn't have been nicer to assist me in the claim.
