Seven Corners Roundtrip Choice
As with all insurance, it is only worth the money if you need to file a claim. We did not but it was good to know that the Seven Corners Roundtrip Choice plan was there in case we needed it. .

Fortunately we didn't need to use the coverage but it was comforting to know we had it available if needed. Purchasing the policy went smoothly with competent people.

Seven Corners Roundtrip Choice
I purchased coverage for two different trips at the same time. I will never choose Seven Corners again! They are fine if you have no claim but so is any coverage; their price seemed better. The first trip I had a modest on-board medical charge ($204). I submitted the claim immediately upon return using their form and providing everything they asked.
The response was a letter asking for an itinerary (not listed on their form) and proof of payment.
I had sent them the statement of the ship Dr. and my final statement from the ship showing the charge to my cabin and settlement on my AmEx card; I even circled the amount. They wanted proof of direct payment to the Dr. and anyone knows that is not the way it works; charges are made to your cabin and you can not pay the Dr. directly. Next they wanted a copy of my AmEx bill as proof. Due to the billing cycle, my bill didn't come until almost a month after my return. Very annoyed, I reluctantly sent a copy which , I think, is a gross invasion of privacy. The ship statement should have been more than adequate since it clearly showed both the charge and the settlement.
If they cause this much hassle over such a straight forward and simple claim, I hate to think about what a major claim would bring; and, after all, it is the major claims against which I buy protection.
I have used InsureMyTrip before and have been pleased but Seven Corners has no place on this otherwise reputable site.

We have taken customer comments like yours in consideration, and have revised our claims process accordingly. We no longer require travel itineraries, unless we are needing additional information to verify a loss. We appreciate your feedback.
