I have been a customer for over 10 months, however, whenever we had a question about a policy issues customer service representatives did everything possible to make sure we were not covered. This not good travel insurance. I would recommend you save the money for an emergency fund or splurge for a better insurance company

Travelex Travel Select was a very reasonable insurance plan to cover all my travel worries. Fortunately, I did not have to make a claim but was happy to have this insurance just in case!

We very much appreciate that insuremytrip and Travelex worked with us after a prior trip was cancelled by applying the higher cancelled trip premium to the subject trip and returning the balance of the cancelled trip premium.

The website was easy to use and overall, I understood what I was going to get for my money.
I wish there was an APP to download, as it would be much easier to file claim or contact a representative via the APP instead of using a phone number.

Although I didn’t have to file a claim (fortunately), I did have to call a few times and the representatives were always very helpful. There was a wait time (about 2 minutes), but I did call mostly at night.
One call was because I incorrectly checked off “Dominca” instead of Dominican Republic, and the representative was very helpful and corrected my error. Another time I had some specific questions regarding the policy, and they were answered. I thought the online application was easy to manage.
It was great peace of mind getting this policy, and I thought it was very affordable for the abundance of coverages.

I would definitely recommend Travelex to family and friends and I would use this plan again. They were helpful and prompt when we first inquired about the possibility of making a claim due to a family emergency. When it became necessary for us to cancel our trip we had the forms and the information we needed to file a claim. Once we submitted the necessary documentation they responded quickly and paid our claim. We were sorry to have to cancel our trip but very happy that we had purchased the Travelex Travel Select plan.
