Fortunately, I didn't need to use it. As a senior citizen, knowing I had coverage in case of an emergency was comforting. I would definitely get this plan again when going on another cruise.

It is easy to rate this plan with 5's...it covered the items I was concerned about; In comparison to other policies that covered the features I was concerned about, it seemed reasonable in price; I was satisfied that the plan would meet my needs if I had to file a claim. Thankfully, we had no problems/issues, so the plan was not actually tested to see if the coverage was suitable, reasonable and satisfactory.

I appreciated that they sent me an email right before my trip started so that I had my policy information and knew what to do if I had a problem.

My wife and I have different state residences and, accordingly, different insurance regulations. We had to submit two separate applications and the final price was quite a bit higher for the separate policies than had we both been covered under one policy. I somewhat understand why this is so, however, it makes the process a bit complex and clearly more expensive.

Bought the travel policy through insure my trip because they can find a policy I want at a better price than I can find at the big name companies I know and especially better than what was offered from Monograms - Globus which arranged my trip.
That said, fortunately I had no need to make a claim, all was well on the trip so I can only hope if I did need to it would be what I expected.

Our bag was stolen from a bus in Chile so we had to make our first ever travel insurance claim. I was dreading it, having heard horror stories about delayed or refused claims. We put together a detailed claim with a police report, a full analysis of what was in the bag (from toothpaste to hiking boots!) and as many receipts as we could drag together and it was approved within 3 weeks and the check was in our hands a few days later. We were relieved and impressed. Although the coverage limit was less than our claim that was fine - we had chosen a plan that gave us adequate coverage and it came through. Our experience was excellent and I will plan on buying this policy again for future travels. Thank you.

We didn't have to use the plan so as far as I know it was good insurance. The company did send me an email prior to departure to provide their app for convenience in case we would need their services. The app also provided emergency phone numbers and their contact information if needed.
