The customer service with this company was excellent. I had a claim. They were courteous and very prompt with responses. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is that they do not consider airport parking a necessary expense when your travel is delayed. I disagree. If I have a vehicle parked at an airport while I am traveling, and can't get back to it at the planned time, in other words - delayed, then, it is an extra expense that I would not have incurred if I had arrived at the airport as planned. In my opinion, my one day of extra parking should have been covered in the delayed coverage.

I was shocked to find that when I wanted to increase the trip cost from $500 to $600, the extra premium would be $47. Obviously it didn't pay to increase the trip cost.

If you purchase a policy online or over the phone, we advise that you receive a quote based on your estimated total trip cost. In doing this, you will know what the total premium of the policy will be once your trip is finalized. However, when you purchase the plan, insure the current trip cost, and then add subsequent trip payments onto the policy.
You have the right to insure a trip cost that is lower than the actual trip cost. However, by not insuring the full cost of the trip, you may lose out of benefits such as the pre-existing conditions waiver.
