This plan offers coverage for Baggage, Travel Delay, Medical, Emergency Medical Evacuation, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment as well as a few other highlighted coverages: Missed Connection coverage, Non-Medical Emergency Evacuation, and a Pre-Existing Condition Waiver

While I would not recommend this particular plan, I would definitely recommend insuring through InsureMyTrip.com rather than counting on spotting coverage from one's credit card!

Unfortunately had to cancel our pricey trip to Deer Valley ski resort in Utah due to my wife's slipped disk in her neck requiring surgery. Our booking was paid in full with a 45 day cancellation requirement or lose entire cost. The TravelSafe policy reimbursed us 100% after submitting a reasonable amount of paperwork, and we received the checks in a few weeks time. I haven't always purchased insurance for every trip, but I will now.

Our trip to Paris was planned for the week of Thanksgiving 2015. The Friday before we were going to fly there, the terrorist attack that killed at least 130 people happened. It was a difficult decision, but we decided not to go given the shocking nature of the attack and the still fluid situation. I called the insurance provider and they were very helpful, telling me the steps I needed to take to correctly cancel the trip. We had a cancel for any reason policy but it turned out that the policy also covered terrorism. We received a full refund of our airline tickets within 10 days of filing the claim. I have purchased insurance for most major trips and this was the first time I had to file a claim.

I did not use the coverage, I can't comment on being satisfied with the plan since I did not file a claim. I always purchase travel insurance. I routinely pick the Travel Safe Classic plan as it appears to provide the coverage to best protect my plans.

Didn't have to use the insurance, but it was good to have it just in case. A person in our charter group passed away on our cruise so that sealed for me buying insurance for every cruise.

Although we didn't need to call upon the travel insurance plan, it provided a measure of reassurance about medical needs while out of the USA and, of lesser importance, invested travel expenses.
