I claimed fly delay (it was 9 hours delay), but I never heard back from them. I try to send few emails, but it is no answer. On Web side it says that clime closed without any explanation. Now I will be claim to return my money that I paid for this insurance.

I must say that reviews where no claim was filed are useless in my opinion. However I've filed two claims with companies sold by InsureMyTrip in the past and they both were paid promptly and with no hassle at all.

I am planning another trip, and apparently I missed the deadline to get the insurance I wanted. I can still get it but it had doubled in price. Perhaps for returning customers you can honor the initial prices.

We appreciate your comment regarding the increase in premium. TravelSafe, along with most of our insurance providers, use the same rates for travel to Hawaii or Mexico. Your premium would only have doubled if you also increased your Total Trip Cost. Policy premiums are based on age of travelers, trip cost and length of trip.Jan 29,2016

We had to submit a claim a few days prior to our scheduled departure date due to the death of a parent. TravelSafe had great claim information online, very nice, helpful people on the phone when we had some follow up questions. After sending in, understandably, a lot of paper work, our claim was paid in full with no additional questions asked.

The plan was not used so unable to rate it. However, we had the same plan last year and had to cancel the trip and file a claim and it was a horrible, time consuming, frustrating process. We bought the plan for this cruise before we experienced claims processing issues last year. We will not purchase this plan again.

Fortunately, the trip went off without a hitch but the security of having the TravelSafe Classic Plus insurance, which covered all possible mishaps, gave us peace of mind. I would recommend a purchase of this type for any trip representing a sizable expense. The process of purchase was easy and quickly done online.

Nephew couldn't get out of work so he had to miss the trip. We had the "Cancel For Any Reason" policy and were reimbursed the 75% of non-refundable trip cost. Recommend!
