This is my second purchase of travel insurance. My mother is 92 and I wanted to be sure to have return coverage options. I think the policy is reasonably priced. I do think the terms regarding pre-existing conditions could be defined more clearly. I have not known of anyone who has filed a claim, nor did I get a clear sense of the success of reimbursement from online comments. I think this purchase is usually more about a secure feeling in case of an emergency, as most insurance is how you feel about gambling on an event.

Great plans, great customer service and quick response. There is a lot of paperwork required when filing a claim, but once the paperwork is submitted, the claim was handled quickly. I will always use TravelSafe when traveling. It's a very small price to pay for peace of mind.

The value seemed good for how many people we insured. It is most important to purchase the insurance as soon as possible due to the pre-existing condition clause. I purchased too late to cover my husbands illness that was diagnosed a month after my first payment for my cruise.

You can purchase most comprehensive policies up until the day before departure. However, the best time to purchase travel insurance is right after you put money down towards your trip. Most comprehensive policies include time sensitive benefits which are but not limited to pre-existing condition waiver, financial default, terrorism, Cancel For Any Reason and Cancel For Work Reasons. Most plans require that you purchase a policy within 10 - 30 days of your initial trip payment, and insure all prepaid non refundable trip costs to receive these time sensitive benefits.Jul 10,2015

The TravelSafe Classic Plan provided excellent peace of mind for myself and the 7 other members of my family. We traveled to Barcelona for 3 days, boarded a ship to Rome for 7 days, and 3 days in Rome. With 4 children from ages 7 to 13 it was comforting to know we were insured for most situations. I highly recommend this company and this policy.
