My policy covered a 40 year old woman and her 13 year old daughter. The principal consideration was medical coverage for a scuba diving vacation in Mexico. Since there were no claims, the review is neutral. The policy was probably a bit cheaper than some policies. I don't understand how three stars on the question, "How satisfied were you with this plan? " cold be interpreted as "somewhat dissatisfied" unless they were fishing for a higher rating.

Fortunately, we did not need to use any of the coverage, but we felt we would be well protected in any circumstance. There is, however, a lot of unclarity about how to add accommodations after airline tickets are booked. Also, it's hard to get a live person on the line.

You can insure the known costs to date, and once you make subsequent arrangements towards the trip, you can contact us at InsureMyTrip at 800-487-4722 to update your existing policy accordingly to include these prepaid non-refundable travel arrangements. A few times, like when my luggage almost didn't show up, and when I watched a man fall on the escalator at the airport, I thought "glad I had that insurance, and peace of mind." Didn't need to make a claim this time, but I have before when my nephew died suddenly, and won't leave home without it now.
