I didn't need it. I hoped it would have worked if I did need it. My husband was in an accident less than 48 hours before we were to leave for our trip. His car was declared a complete total job. He got a bit banged up and was extremely sore the first 24 hours but fortunately felt better the next day so we went! I tried to find as much coverage as I could get for the price. That is important because none of us plan on canceling a trip when we buy coverage. I buy it because I have aging parents though, ironically, it could have been my husband's accident that might have made the insurance necessary. In other words, buy something. You never know if you will need it.

My claim was processed quickly and without incident. My only comment would be a lot of paperwork was required to process the claim, but they worked with me to get what was needed.
