I was happy with my experience with C&F. I had to file a claim and was reimbursed quickly and the process was fairly simple. The only item I didn’t expect was to provide supporting documents considering I purchased the ‘cancel for any reason’ plan. Any reason I list should’ve been sufficient enough, but thankfully I was able to supply the requested information.

We had no need to use this plan (thank goodness!), but having it for a 3 week trip to Asia made us feel much more secure. Would definitely recommend.

My travel dates were Dec 1 leave RDU, Dec 8 return to RDU from Cun, I purchased insurance for my round trip travel dates. I was bitten by an insect early in my vacation that changed from itchy, and nothing to worry about, to on the last day, a very painful red swollen calf that now made it difficult to walk .On the last day, while I was about to leave Mexico to go home, I brought up the app on my phone to see what my insurance could do for me. The app said my insurance is no longer in effect. These are not my opinions or my feelings, I am just giving you feedback.

Apparently you did not actually file a claim with Crum and Forster Travel Insured. We did check our records and can confirm that your return date is shown as 12/08/2018. You may still be able to submit a claim if you visited a doctor for treatment during your trip. We suggest that you call the claims department at (800) 243-2440 for assistance in reporting your claim.Dec 20,2018

We got our money back, customer service was real helpful, nice to us.

Can't beat how good this plan is for total coverage. Used it again and again. Excellent benefits at the best price when compared to all the other plans on offer. Some other plans being offered on this website are more expensive with less coverage e.g. Worldwide Trip Protector from Travel Insured.

Most insurance providers base their Comprehensive Plan premiums on trip cost, age of travelers and length of trip. However, you also selected a plan that includes Cancel for Any Reason, an optional coverage which added 39% to your policy premium.Nov 30,2018

Had to file few claims: 1) travel cancellation (one person got sick during the trip and couldn't make prepaid tours). It was a little hassle to get proper documentation from the doctor but at the end, we received compensation from CF. 2) Lost baggage (an expensive item was lost during travel). This claim was processed fast without too much back and forth hassle. Overall, price of the policy is decent and I am glad we had it since, unfortunately, we had to use it this time.
