Had to file a claim on cancel for any reason; they wanted proof of non-refundable airline ticket but then issued the % payment I had contracted for in a very timely manner; will buy again for this reason

We canceled our original trip to avoid loss of pre-paid funds due to circumstances beyond our control. Travel Insured allowed us to transfer the insurance to a future trip. We took a trip to England and Scotland with no issues whatever. The trip was comfortable knowing we were covered should an issue occur. We always buy trip insurance for major travel - Insuremytrip provides a valuable product. We will use them on our next excursion to wherever that may be.

I could not have been happier. This was the first time my husband and I got travel insurance. My sister also got it as the 3 of us were going on the same tour. We bought insurance because my father had cancer and we didn't know when the end might come. He died 4 days before the trip. The 3 of us decided my sister would stay with my mother while my husband and I went on the trip. My sister got a full refund including the extra flight to NC where the trip originated.
We stayed in Copenhagen a few extra days after the tour. On the 3rd day I fell and twisted my ankle badly, couldn't walk. We went to the doctor for a medical report and then made arrangements to go home the next day.
Travel Insured covered the extra cost of the flight change, taxis to and from the hospital, and to the airport. They were very helpful.
Will I get this again? Yes, definitely. We are in our mid-60s and want to travel feeling secure that if anything happens, we don't need to worry.

They were one of the only plans to cover pregnancy related cancellations and a newborn (not yet born when policy purchased). Luckily didn't need it in the end!
