I bought a policy before a planned trip to Europe. Unfortunately a health problem forced me to cancel my trip and undergo surgery. After filling out forms, I was very pleased that I was paid in full for my plane tickets. I have bought travel insurance from other companies in the past, but this time I had very good and fair treatment.

I have to admit that I went into this with very limited knowledge and although the website and plan comparison was good, it still left questions to be answered. Speaking to the customer service representatives on the website was a revelation. Not only were they nice, but they were knowledgeable and helpful and really assisted me in focusing on what insurance my wife needed at the best combination of price and quality of the provider. These guys rocked! Now we were fortunate to not having had to make a claim, but at least we looked to be in the best position if we did. A+ recommendation

Being in Rio for this amount of time i was able to see the problems that would arise if i actually needed to receive treatment in a hospital as the traffic was mind boggling during commute time.So may i suggest a map of some kind outlining emergency room locations in cities that are known to be congested in order to make a more informed decision.Thank you

The plan appears to be appropriate and the price is right and the website is easy to use. I have recommended it to a number of people. I did file a claim in 2013 because of needing a hip replacement and that claim was paid with no problem.

The plan, with the options I chose, hit all the high points of my reasons for wanting trip insurance. By definition all insurances costs rise as the insured ages, at my age (65+) the costs are higher than for a younger person. My cost/risk analysis, however crude, assured me I was making a sound decision.
