I was very pleased with how quickly they took care of our claim. I was also happy that when we were delayed 9 1/2 hours that they paid for our lunches even though we had paid cash and didn't have receipts. It was a very reasonable price that we paid for our lunch so it was good that they covered it. Very happy with the expedited claim.

Thank goodness I did not need to use my insurance for a trip to a remote Himalayan country, but I felt confident that I was protected with my Generali Global Standard plan. The price was very reasonable in relation to the coverage I needed (such as evacuation insurance, just in case). I increased my insurance twice as I added more trip expense (e.g. hotel reservation). In both cases, in contrast to other insurance that I have purchased through InsureMyTrip, days after my requested increase, I heard nothing. Then I received a voicemail from Generali explaining that I must speak with them to bind the insurance. Very inconvenient, especially since I was already overseas when I got the message.
