Although I did not need to use the plan it was a great piece of mind to know I had it. While on my trip two of my travel companions had medical issues. And I realized if that was me at least I had the coverage

This was our 1st experience of having to cancel a trip due to medical reasons. We filed the necessary paperwork which was lengthy. A checked arrived within 3 weeks for the amount requested. Very impressive!

We missed our connection at Chicago to Salt Lake City. I called the tour company and I was told to fly to Salt Lake City and meet the tour group at Salt Lake City. I called Generali Global Assistance to get help with my airline reservations. The woman asked why the train was late. I told her I didn't why it was late. Then she started to tell me the insurance may not cover this delay, but file a claim anyway. Thanks, I did not need to hear this at that time. I told her I needed help with airline reservations. She told me she does not handle that, but can connect me to some one who could. The person who came on the line wanted to know what I wanted and I explained I needed help with airline reservations. She told me that the company does not help with airline reservations and I have to do it myself. On your web site it says that you will help with airline reservations. I got no where with her. Because of what I was told I made other travel plans and arrived in Salt Lake City 2 days later and we met our tour group. I got ZERO help from the Insurance company. The insurance is good as long as you don't have to use it! I'll save my money on further trips and not get the insurance from InsureMyTrip. It was an extremely stressful situation and a total waste of money to buy insurance from your company.
