Felt comfortable knowing we were covered
One person on the trip did get hurt and needed medical attention and did not have
Coverage. Fortunately the cost for an MRI was only 40.00 US Dollars covering her foot
We will certainly consider the coverage again on our next trip

Not needing to use the plan is the best option. However, if I needed it I thought the coverage was good and would suite my needs. I like being able to just purchase medical when out of the country. One time when I was out of the country I had to use a credit card on the spot for treatment so I was happy to purchase this plan.

When I left, I thought EVERYTHING was covered that I needed to have covered. I borrowed my daughter's expensive suitcase and the only thing that went wrong was her suitcase

When I called to have it taken care of, I was told that it wasn't covered. It made me wonder what else wasn't covered?

The plan that you purchased is a travel medical plan designed to cover you for sickness or injury while you are abroad. Even though the plan focuses on medical, it does have small amounts of coverage for re-issuing lost passports, re-issuing lost airline tickets and replacing a lost piece of luggage ($100 per incident). Unfortunately, the benefits of your plan do not include coverage due to baggage damage. We strive to provide a seamless service to our valued customers and again appreciate your feedback."
Most Single-Trip Medical plans do not cover damaged luggage. The best way to cover lost, stolen, or damaged luggage is by purchasing a Comprehensive travel insurance plan.
