Since I did not have to use the insurance plan, I really cannot comment on is effectiveness. It sure made me feel better knowing/hoping I would have medical and evacuation coverage in the event of an issue on my trip. The peace of mind was well worth the price I paid.

Insurance is an item that is a purchase that one NEVER wants to use and thus get the real monetary value.
