HTH Worldwide Trip Protector Preferred
Communication with the company over the email connections did not work. Tryed at least 7 to 9 times to reset password. Never did get it to work. Called the company directly, and they requested information that was not needed, and had to resend duplicate paperwork. In the end, I mailed well over 25 documents, some more than once. Finally on about the 3rd call, I walked step by step our claim. At that point, lady made more notes, but it took an additional couple of weeks to get paid. Should not have been that hard, during this difficult process, I would have liked HTH to call me, instead of their web mail, which I could not get to work. In the end, I got about 90% of what I claimed, so I guess that is ok.

We do want you and your fellow customers to be aware that InsureMyTrip offers a Customer Advocate Program. Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. Requesting a Customer Advocate is as simple as calling 800-487-4722 or emailing customercare@insuremytrip.com, explaining the events which resulted in a claim, and the challenges you are facing.

    Hello and thank you for your feedback. Your original claim was received via postal mail in March and we requested additional documentation after it was reviewed. We received your additional documents and the claim was reprocessed in the beginning of April. Our claims turnaround time is 3-4 weeks from when the documents are received. There was no need so it is hard to evaluate. It would be wiser to consider the input of those who had to ask for service. Their experience would better tell you if what you offered was good or bad. You offered peace of mind and I got what I paid for.

My husband dued in a small hospital in a jungle town in Peru. Since it was not "in network" and a very unsophisticated place, i ended up paying for everything in cash, including treatment, diagnostic, medication and documents. I contacted you before he died. You were utterly useless.

I am still in Peru trying to get the body out and home . He died on friday, this is tuesday and it is a byzantine system that is endless bureaucracy and forms, i have no interest intalking to your representative until i and the remains are safely home.

This is an addendum to earlier review. HTH eventually paid for the three hours my husband spent in s hospital emergency room . But know this: Do not die of natural causes. Your death benefit of $50,000 does not apply. It is a massive loophole in the policy.

    As the traveler indicated, the 50,000 USD death benefit is for 24 Hour Accidental Death only. Travel Insurance plans do not offer life insurance benefits for sickness or illness.
