We liked that you could have access to the whole policy before signing up. We were limited to very few plans because we both have pre-existing conditions. This plan appears to give very good coverage for pre-existing conditions no matter when you sign up. However, the true test of any plan is whether or not you have to make a claim. We didn't need to make a claim, so it's very difficult to evaluate the plan as a whole.

I have purchased trip insurance on InsureMyTrip since 2000/01. Some years I’ve purchased insurance more than once per year, depending on my travels. Purchased different brands depending upon what company provided coverage for my destination country. Although I have only had to use my trip insurance (file a claim) a couple times, there was no problem and coverage was promptly provided under the terms of the policy. I recommend to all of my fellow travelers (often I travel with groups of 50 people or more) to always purchase trip insurance. I especially recommend the company that I have actually had a claim processed with, as I know they provide the coverage promised.
