I didn't have to use the insurance, but it was comforting to know it was there. I liked that they provided timely and useful information by email rather than requiring me to remember URLs on my own. I also was pleased that they did not specifically exclude musical instruments; I had two small ones with me that were not incredibly expensive but the coverage was appreciated. I rejected several other plans because of this limitation. The price worked out to about $4.00 per day. The total seemed consistent with other policies I looked at.

For the first time ever, I filed a medical claim. It was not for much--just a doctor visit and 2 prescriptions. I did not obtain all the proper documentation, though I had called Insure and Go in advance and thought I had done everything right. Upon returning home, my $46 claim was processed without all the required forms and signatures, etc. and I received a check. I was pleased that the Insure and Go claims rep worked with me and processed the claim based on the paperwork I had managed to secure and on my own testimony. I'd use Insure and Go again and would recommend them.

I had to be hospitalized during my stay and I contacted InsureandGo right away. They said they would take care of the payment at the hospital. Then when it came time to pay, I could not contact them. It was only after I had paid (out of pocket) and left the hospital that they emailed me and said they "would have paid". After this email assuring payment it took 2 weeks of daily phone calls and emails to finally get a response and process my reimbursement. This plan may work well for small things, but if you get in a large monetary problem do not expect this company to be accommodating.

I did not use the plan but the cost made it affordable to have in the event of an emergency should I have needed it. In other words I am glad to know I had the insurance while traveling for 4 different countries. Will definitely consider another policy with them when I travel back to the UK. Thanks so much.
