I had to cancel my trip due to an accident and the plan covered my expenses.
However, the claims administrator for JH, Seven Corners was not a company that I would like to deal with again. Their website and processes are archaic which resulted in many phone calls to follow up. There is zero transparency since you only talk to a customers service rep who knows nothing about the claim. Also, if you are asked for additional information, the SLA timing starts all over upon receiving requested information.
I finally received an email saying that they are sending a check so I'm crossing my fingers that it arrives in the mail.

Customer Advocates are representatives assigned to assist customers who experience issues after filing a claim. John Hancock Insurance provided excellent and complete coverage for our claim. My wife was diagnosed with cancer and we had to cancel our trip and we were refunded fully for all committed expenses.
