Happily, we did not need to use our insurance. However, on a plane ride between countries in Africa, we met a woman who had broken her ankle the first day of her vacation. She had originally thought she wouldn't get any insurance but changed her mind. She was glad she did! Her insurance had purchased three seats on the plane so she could keep her leg elevated during the flight. I won't ever travel without insurance now!

We always have trip insurance now on our big trips. It gives us peace of mind. The 2 times we did have to file a claim, the results were more than satisfactory. We are very happy with the coverage and the price and like the ease of comparing.
