I didn’t have to file a claim which I’m very glad. It gave me the piece of mind that if I couldn’t go I wouldn’t lose what I paid for the trip. With COVID all around you just never know what could happen.

Do have a concern - had a potential claim for delayed luggage (did not meet full criteria so was not covered), but when calling Nationwide at the number "For Filing a Claim" on the policy sent to me by InsuremyTrip (888-490-7606) the rep could find no record of my policy, and more concerning no record of me even though I have purchased more than one Nationwide policy through InsuremyTrip. The rep said she was with Trawick and that my policy # should be all numeric, but mine was alpha-numeric starting with "NWE." Because I have purchased other policies for future travel, I want to be sure that InsuremyTrip is passing along all the correct info to me and to Nationwide in the event I do have a claim on a future trip. Who can help resolve that as to why the Cust Svc # with Nationwide has no record of my policies? Thank you.

Great insurance coverage at a great price. I have another Nationwide policy for a cruise we have booked for next year (actually rebooked multiple times due to COVID), they transferred the policy each time it was rescheduled with such ease. I will always use Nationwide through Insuremytrip.com.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Prime
Totally a rip off! I was told that I would not be covered if Mexico would shut down and I couldn't make my trip. I asked for my money back so I could purchase insurance with a company that would cover me and I was told No! I will never purchase anything with them again.

    While you do have coverage if you are to contract Covid-19, any sort of government closures or shutdowns do require the Cancel For Any Reason protection. Cancel for Any Reason is a time sensitive benefit that must be purchased no later than 21 days from the first day you put any money down towards your trip. Additionally, the insurance policies are non-refundable after the policy review period. Your policy review period was 10 days following the purchase of the policy.

The only thing that I found cumbersome, and didn't particularly like, was that I could not go directly to Nationwide Mutual Insurance but had to go through Insure My Trip customer care for changes.

We had a trip date change, on a couple of occasions, and I would have preferred to go directly through Nationwide rather than have to contact Insure My Trip who then contacted Nationwide.
