We purchased coverage mostly for medical evacuation coverage and any trip interruptions. Since nothing happened, I can't really say how good the coverage was. But it did give us peace of mind.

It took about 2 months to receive any refund. After the two months we received a check that did not cover our expenses. We called again and they said they would re-review. After that they said they would send us another check. Why was this necessary? Did they think people would not take the time to fight it. We were stuck in Jamaica for hurricane beryl and some stuff wasn't approved because we didn't have something saying that we were quarantined.

Never had to use insurance so true value is unknown. Based off coverage seems to be better option to coverage offered by cruise line. But one negative is no mobile app for use in emergency. All we had was hard copy print out.
