We filed a claim in October 2017, for a November 2017 cruise that we cancelled. There were several hurricanes that increased their response time, which is understandable, but We had "cancel for any reason" insurance and we didn't receive our insurance reimbursement until April 2018. It took 6 months to go through the claim process. They would say they needed additional information and then two weeks later they would ask for new information that they could have asked for in the previous contact - it seemed like they were trying to delay resolution of our claim. They took so long that they threatened they were going to close our claim request because we provided an "invalid" cruise reservation number - it turns out it wasn't invalid at all, it was archived by the cruise line since it was so many months after the actual cruise date. They did pay the amount we expected, but taking 6 months to pay us is way too long.

    Thank you for leaving a review regarding the length of your claim settlement. The amount of time you waited to reach settlement was too long. We are sorry for the inconvenience and the frustration it caused. We are taking important steps to make sure claims are settled promptly, including increasing the number of adjusters we have available. Horrendous Customer Service when we tried to file a claim. They lose documents, don't follow, up, come up with excuses, etc. For a Simple $250 Medical Reimbursement they have been giving us the run around for almost 4 months. The claim could not be more simple (Dr. visit on a policy with Primary Coverage). Claim was finally paid when said we would contact the State Insurance Commissioner Beware if you need to use this company. I'd recommend staying away
