Fortunately I did not need to file a claim. Purchasing was fast and easy. It gave me the great coverage amounts and even the cancel for any reason that I wanted in these uncertain times of COVID. I am pleased with my purchase and thankful I didn't need to use it. I will buy again in future.

This was the most generous plan that covered both Illness of a relative and illness of a pet cat or dog. However, I was very distressed to find out that pre-existing g conditions would not be covered AFTER I paid the balance due since it was more than 2 weeks after the initial trip payment (i.e., the deposit) to the tour operator. If it said that anywhere it certainly wasn’t obvious.
