Trawick International is a full service travel insurance provider specializing in travel related coverage for tourists, scholars, businesses, and all other global travelers.
I almost always purchase Trawick when I travel, and this is one of the rare instances where I actually used it. The online portal is easy to use, I reached a person quickly when I called with a clarification question, and my reimbursement check was delivered in a couple weeks -- the full amount requested, no hassle.

Good quality service. Allowed us to transfer policy to another cruise after having to postpone due to Hurricane Ian. Appreciative and grateful. Would recommend and use again.

Due To a fall and hospitalization of my wife, we were forced to cancel our cruise. Trawick gave me the information I needed to file a claim and completed my repayment efficiently and without any issues.
I am happy I chose them for our trip insurance.

The cost of travel insurance goes up with age and time. I am beginning to question the value compared to the risk. In the future I will evaluate what coverage I actually need.

Gave 5 stars for everything because it all seemed great and would cover if I had a problem, but I didn't have any issues so I am not sure if it would have gone well.

The most important aspect of this plan is that it provides PRIMARY insurance. The insurance we get on cruise ships is secondary and it takes many months and complicated procedures to be reimbursed for claims.

My wife and I purchased a Trawick International "Safe Travels Voyager" policy ($1,104) to cover our December 2022 trip to New York from California for a family medical emergency. United Airlines delayed our return and then rerouted us to San Francisco, requiring us to stay overnight at a hotel at our own expense without our luggage. We reached home more than 24 hours late. Our policy included the fllowing coverages that, on the face of it, would seem to have applied to our situation: Trip Interruption ($5,202), Travel Baggage Delay ($8+ hours, $600), and Travel Delay (6+ hours, $150/day). However, the company defined only our hotel expense ($450.52) and the extra charge for our seats on United from San Francisco ($78) as "eligible" expenses, ultimately sending a check for $378 toward our claim of $1,748.52, and $150.52 less than the company itself had listed as "payable.". My conclusion: Don't take the listing of coverages on the policy at face value. "Travel Baggage Delay" and "Travel Delay" don't mean what the simple language would imply. Our experience with this Trawick/Nationwide policy raises a serious doubt in my mind as to the value of travel insurance.
Postscript: A week after I wrote the above review, I received checks for $150.52. This amount brought the total reimbursement to the level the company identified as "eligible expenses."

We don't ever want to file a claim. It was a little pricier than we'd like for a domestic vacation trip that needed coverage due to the area where medical care could get expensive depending on scenario.
