The Bronze plan is the most economical policy offered by John Hancock, and includes basic limits of coverage such as Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Travel Delay, Baggage and Medical coverage. This plan allows you to insure trip costs up to $15,000, making it ideal for insuring smaller, less expensive trips. If you have made a payment towards your trip, and would like to protect your investment, this plan includes Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage, which offers coverage if you have to cancel your trip prior to departure (for a covered reason) or if you have to interrupt your trip (again, for a covered reason) once you have already left and need to return home.
The Bronze plan covers typical reasons for cancellation and interruption such as, unforeseen illness, injury or death, a delay of 24 or more hours of your common carrier due to inclement weather, and your primary residence or destination accommodations being made uninhabitable by fire, vandalism, burglary, or natural disaster. If you are concerned about a pre-existing condition, you may want to look at the other two plans, Silver and Gold, offered by John Hancock. Those plans offer a pre-existing exclusion waiver if the plan is purchased within 21 days of your initial trip payment (please see quoted plans as certain conditions apply).

Had questions on my policy while I was traveling; while InsureMyTrip was partly able to answer my question, I needed to talk to John Hancock agency. I was transferred to a John Hancock representative, but all he said he could do was start a claim for me....said no one was available to answer my question until Monday....this was Saturday. I had a question, needed an answer, no one to help....fortunately for me I was able to solve the issue without further assistance. Would think twice about going with John Hancock again.Susan E.
