Nationwide Mutual Insurance Vacation Renter Protector
I submitted a claim for a trip delay, caused by American Airlines. We had to spend an extra night in a hotel and pay more for our car rental and meals. Nationwide covered our expenses.

Travelex Travel Select
Part of our trip had to be cancelled because there was a ground crew strike at all Italian airports and our flight was cancelled and unable to be rebooked. The airline, hotel and car rental were all okay with refunds, but for our Trip to see the MotoGP races we had to dispute the charge with the credit card company. MotoGp won the dispute and so I claimed on the travel insurance our tickets. I filed a claim through online and after I was finished, it said it would email me the confirmation. I got no confirmation at all. So I have no claim number. About a week ago, I emailed someone with all of my policy information again and asked what is going on with the claim. I got an autoreply and again, no word from anyone. Unfortunately, I don;t have a lot of time to call during business hours and be put on hold. Can someone email me back and tell me what is going on? It said 15 business days, but i it has been well past that initial claim date. [email protected].

Was happy to have been covered by this plan on our recent trip. The customer service was very impressive and helpful. To have the security without the large insurance coverage bill was a big plus. I had called a few other companies and was happy that I found C& F Travel. I am sharing the company information with my family and friends. I did not have to file a claim because the trip went very well.

AIG Travel Travel Guard Deluxe
I chose a mid-level trip insurance, just in case of a trip tragedy. We did have to file a claim because we had a medical emergency the day prior to leaving for our trip that made it impossible for us to attend. We were finally completely reimbursed after almost a month of filing the claim. I am happy that we were completely reimbursed, but the response time was not exactly up to my standards. We were given a claim representative, but when we did have an issue or needed to contact someone we just had to contact the main company & it took some time for that message to get filtered to our actual representative for a reply.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
I put in for clothing while I waited for my luggage to show up and then I had to go back to the airport to get my luggage when it finally showed up. They couldn’t deliver it for 3-4 more days at which time I would be on a boat. They didn’t reimburse me for those costs and they did not reimburse me for all the close costs either.
