The AIG Travel Travel Guard Gold plan offers mid-level coverage and more options than Travel Guard Basic and Travel Guard Silver, allowing you to customize the plan to best fit your needs. In addition to Trip Cancellation, this plan offers Cancel for Any Reason coverage and a Pre-Existing Conditions Waiver. Children age 17 and under are free when there is at least one covered adult on the plan.

I've always found Travel Guard -- as well as Allianz too be honest -- of good value. On the occasion that I did file a claim, I was treated professionally, courteously, and expediously. Good show!

Since I have not used the coverage I get from Travel Guard on numerous trips (only once when our flight out of Newark was delayed causing us to miss a connecting flight in Florida, did we have to use it to cover the hotel cost for the night), I cannot report on how good or not as good the actual response and coverage is if needed. I was obligated to rate customer satisfaction which should have a choice of "not used' as an option. How do I really respond to a non event?

We had to cancel the trip due to a medical reason. The claim processing was very easy and seamless. Got the check within 2 weeks. The rep even called to alert us that the check was in the mail. Awesome service!

Never filed a claim before this and was extremely impressed. Flight cancelled forcing us to get a hotel by the airport. Submitted receipt for hotel and incidentals and had a check for full payment in less than a week!

We did not need to use any of the travel insurance benefits we purchased for our trip. But having the coverage in place provided us with an extra degree of piece of mind for traveling on an extended trip to a foreign country.

I felt the plan was comprehensive and would cover if at my age something would come up to force me to cancel my trip. It also would cover any catastrophic coverage that would supplement my policy to fly me out of the Bush and my personal insurance plan.
I fell in love with Kenya, the people, the animals and the safari so I am looking at ways I can come up with enough money to repeat a similar experience next year and I will again purchase your trip insurance.
