I filed a claim 2 days after my return. I attempted to prove my expense by submitting the cruise line disembarkation bill. After wait a week, I called RoamRight and they demanded a credit card statement. However, the bottom of the cruise line bill stated it was being paid by my credit card. They said that was not proof. Anyone who has ever been on a cruise knows you don't get off without a credit card covering your expenses. So I had to wait for my credit card billing info before processing.

I gave two fellow travelers a recommendation to use your company. I previously recommended it to four travelers who now also regularly use your company. Same coverage, but less than half the cost of the insurance the cruise line offers.

It was annoying to keep having to call and send confirming emails when I made my final payment. It would be nice to just pay for all of the coverage at the beginning, since I knew how much my total cost would be for airfare and lodging.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. We are sorry to learn that you are displeased with the policy adjustment protocol. In the future, if you have an accurate price point of the total pre-paid and non-refundable trip cost, you can insure the entire cost up front, and pay the entire premium up front. Please be mindful that you would be reimbursed only for the trip cost that was non refundable at the time of cancellation. Here are several reasons why we advise customers to purchase insurance for the current trip cost, and add the costs of any subsequent arrangements as you make them: If an insured over estimates the trip cost or never incurs the trip cost, they will have purchased too much coverage, and will have over paid on premium. Outside of the 10-14 day review period there are no refunds. On the other hand, if the insured under insures, they risk invalidating the pre-existing conditions waiver. The price was in line with other companies, which all seem high and are all significantly higher than they were a few years ago. It was easy to sign up and the reminders pre-trip were a plus.
