While on vacation in Italy my travel partner came down with a hemorrhaging bladder infection. We called the number for coverage and got a recording, we weren’t impressed, but thought someone would call back in at least an hour. We didn’t hear from anyone until the next day and we had already taken care of the problem by other means. I’m just glad it wasn’t a more serious problem. Completely dissatisfied with this company.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. We have passed this information on to the insurance provider. After purchase, IMG emails a purchase confirmation which can be printed and carried with you on the trip. The purchase confirmation includes the 24 hour emergency contact information. This is the phone number that you would want to call while you are traveling. Bought the plan for a trip to Singapore, Vietnam and Laos. Had a medical problem in Laos. Talked to you and you told me you didn't have any doctors in Laos....great. Flew to Hanoi to have the problem addressed at a clinic listed on your website. They have never heard of you and did not accept the insurance. I paid out of pocket. No claim filed since it was under the deductible anyway. Your company was absolutely zero help with my problem. Never again will I buy a policy from you.

I travel a lot and have always purchased a trip insurance whether traveling in US or international The most important reason is to get a medical/dental coverages. On all the plans I bought in the past many years, the dental was always part of the medical coverage. During my recent trip to Europe a month ago, I lost 2 teeth on my upper dentures. When I called IMG, I found out that the plan I bought, which was recommended by "Insure my Trip", had no dental coverage. For this reason I will not buy a trip insurance from IMG anymore. Also, this would have been the first time, after so many years of purchasing a trip insurance, that I would be submitting a claim. I'm totally disappointed.

"The Patriot International plan does indeed have dental coverage. The coverage is for the treatment of unexpected pain to natural sound teeth. As the insured indicated in her review, she lost 2 teeth from her upper dentures. This would not be covered."May 07,2019
