The Travel Max plan offers the highest limits of coverage and the most benefits of the three comprehensive Travelex plans. This plan includes coverages that are optional upgrades on the Travel Basic and Travel Select plans. Coverages include Trip Cancellation and Interruption coverage with an enhanced list of covered perils, along with higher limits of coverage for Travel Baggage, Baggage Delay, Travel Delay, Medical and Emergency Medical Evacuation.

As with all insurance one generally hopes never to have to collect, and we didn't; however, it's a great peace of mind backup and well worth the premium.

I was traveling to a small town in Spain by train when my ipad was stolen. When I realized the loss we went to the local police department to get a police report documenting the theft. With that report we were able to file a claim with Travelex and were reimbursed for the entire expense except for a small deductible. As a result of the insurance I was able to replace my ipad, and it paid me back for the cost of the insurance. I had tried to insure my ipad as a rider on my homeowner's policy, but they did not insure ipads.

Seems good, did not have to file a claim. Was a little bit more expensive than I would have liked, but I needed CFAR for hurricane protection.
