Thankfully I didn’t need to use my Travelex Travel plan on the trip, but knowing I was covered gave me peace of mind. The company made purchasing the plan super easy with a great price, so I absolutely expect to use them again in the future.

Difficult to answer accurately as I didn't have cause to use the plan or contact the provider. In that respect it was fine, but I can't say I'd recommend it as I don't have any basis to say that the service was good.

I decided to use The Travelex Travel Select Plan for my trip through insuremytrip.com because of issues with double billing when buying a travel insurance policy from Global Allianz through the American Airlines website.
I travel several times a year and am planning some overseas travel as well this year, so I will consider using this new source for me as well.

First we ALWAYS buy travel insurance, no matter how simple or how elaborated our travel plans are... I would have given it a 5 stars if the policy had the option to cover the Airbnb property and the ski equipment we rented too(tailor to our specific needs). When planning our vacations we come across the same problems: most policies are very general... Either it covers a lot of areas that we do not need(air portion, delayed flights etc...) when we are not flying and does not offer coverage in case damage to vacation home we stay in and sports equipment we rent. VRBO and HOME AWAY FROM HOME vacation properties offer the option to buy insurance for property you rent not AIRBNB. In our personal experience; we always buy travel insurance and highly recommend to friends and family to do so.

It’s hard to give any review since we had no claims. I can say that the application process was easy and the coverage was well explained. We would buy it again for a future trip, but as I wrote, it’s difficult to give a critical review since we do not go through the claim process.

I purchased this plan for a trip from SFO to JFK and JFK to Montego Bay and back again. That cost me about $1.5k, and this plan would cover all of that for $50, which was great to hear.
