I was able to add coverage later for the air portion of my trip. It was easy, just a phone call to update the coverage once the plans were complete. Fortunately I did not need to use the medical evacuation portion from Tibet.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. The majority of the comprehensive polices we offer allow travelers to increase the insured trip cost. In the event you add additional trip expenses after you purchase a policy, you must call us within 10-30 days (policy specific) of adding the additional expenses so we can re-quote your policy and add the additional trip cost onto your existing policy.Aug 22,2014

I did not need to use it, but it was good to know I was covered. The customer service representatives were helpful in setting up the policy. We went to Newfoundland. It is a lovely, interesting, friendly country. I recommend a visit to it.

Insurance is more about peace of mind this product is well priced and provides a good level of coverage to give just that. I would use this plan again in the future.

Thakfully, we did not need to use the Travelex Insurance we purchased but it was re-assuring that we had the coverage had we needed it. If I were to travel in the future and especially plan another family trip, I would definitley purchase travel insurance from Travelex. The peace of mind was worth the expense.

We had peace of mind (with a family of 4 any number of events can cancel the trip.) We saved money by not buying the added car insurance in the UK because we knew we had adequate coverage for deductibles.

Since I didn't have to use the plan, I can't say anything about the Travelex Travel Select plan. I'm assuming the product would have come to the rescue if a claim was necessary. However, that is all hypothetical. I'll continue to use your service until I have a reason to go elsewhere.
