Luckily we did not have any occasion to actually use any portion of our trip protection as everything went smoothly without injuries, or changes. But I did feel safer having it in place with such a complicated expensive trip. I know many people who have planned big trips and had a last minute emergency and lost a lot of money. Having the trip protection in place made me feel more relaxed about booking it.

It was easy to select the correct plan and to purchase it over the phone. Telephone support was very helpful. I had no need to file a claim so I can not comment on anything other than the purchase of the plan.

We did not need to use the plan, but knowing we were covered should any issues arise was very reassuring. This plan had better coverage than similarly priced ones and we will use it on our next trip as well. We ran into a few people during our travels that would have benefited from having travel insurance - another reason we were glad we had it, even though we did not need it this time around.

My family missed a portion of our cruise due to flight delays. Travel safe fully paid our claim for missed days on the cruise without question or hassle. The only reason I deducted one star is because it took about 6 weeks to process.

Did not have to use, thankfully, but it was nice to know we had some type of recourse if needed. I do wish that the policies included pets as members of families. Like many people, we consider our pets to be family members, and if there was a serious issue with them that required trip cancellation or interruption, none of the policies available would apply.
