The MedjetHorizon Expat Membership is ideal for those traveling for extended periods of time abroad and want to purchase air-medical transport coverage plus additional travel security and crisis response benefits during expatriate travel. There are two Expat Membership options: Expat180 (1 year, for up to 180 days of uninterrupted time spent outside your home country on any one trip), and Expat365 for those who intend to spend up to a year abroad. Enroll prior to departure from your primary residence address.

This membership covers both domestic and international travel and includes all the hospital to hospital air-medical transport benefits of the MedjetAssist Membership with additional travel security and crisis response benefits powered by FocusPoint International. Members have access to a 24/7 travel security network for advice and in-country response to a wide range of safety concerns including terrorism, kidnap for ransom, political threat, hijacking, natural disaster, disappearance, violent crime, wrongful detention, blackmail and extortion, and pandemic.

This membership also includes additional benefits such as emergency medical cash advance, ground ambulance transfer, specialty hospital transfer, and personal travel advisories.

This membership is offered in individual, family and group coverage. A family membership protects the primary member, their domestic spouse or partner and up to five unmarried dependent children under age 19 (or under age 23, if full-time student). The MedjetHorizon Expat Membership is available for residents of the U.S., Canada or Mexico age 74 and under.
