WorldTrips Atlas Journey Economy

Atlas Journey Economy, underwritten by U.S. Specialty Insurance Company (USSIC), is a comprehensive travel insurance plan for budget-conscious U.S. residents traveling domestically and abroad.

This customizable plan features a Trip Cancellation benefit that provides full reimbursement for prepaid, nonrefundable trip costs if you cancel your trip for one of many covered reasons. It offers many other travel-related benefits as well, including Trip Interruption, Travel Delay, Missed Connection, and Baggage Damage or Loss.

Atlas Journey Economy also includes several travel medical benefits to help cover unexpected health costs, like Emergency Accident & Sickness Medical Expense, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, and Medical Evacuation & Repatriation of Remains.

Other optional upgrades include a Security/Terrorism upgrade, Vacation Rental Accommodations upgrade, Adventure Sports upgrade, and more.

Finally, the Atlas Journey Economy plan features travel assistance services to assist you before and after departure. These multilingual services include medical assistance and transportation services, emergency travel services, pre-trip information, referrals, and more.

Typical insurer whose first action is to automatically deny the claim based on..... no one reviewing the claim. Second attempt after calling resulted in denial based on "service not covered in plan" when the contact clearly states the coverage and amount. One must go through so many hoops and hurdles including appealing, just to get the benefit one has paid for. I'm disappointed and regret purchasing a policy.
