We were very pleased with the cost of the policy and the coverages provided,however, the true test of the policy is not coverages but how you deal with a claim and that we never tested, particularly, when the coverages were mostly secondary and one does not know what hoops we would have to jump through to process a claim.

I had to cancel my planned trip due to a medical issue. After my conversation with the Generali Global representative, I submitted my claim along with the medical and requested documents. Generali Global quickly processed my claim and advised that the trip costs would be covered. I have used Generali Global on my previous travels and have always been satisfied with their coverage. Because I have always had good results, I usually recommend Insuremytrip.com and Generali Global to my friends and family.

I have no idea if the cost is reasonable -- it just cost what it costs.

I feel very to have bought the insurance as a woman on our recent trip fell down and had a slight fracture of her leg and a large hematoma on her head. She still went along on the trip but could not really take part in most of the activities.
