As far as I know, the travel insurance actually covers what it says it covers. We did not need to file any claims so I can't comment on how difficult (or easy) that aspect might be.
My only complaint would be that our team consisted of people from four states, and we had to buy travel insurance separately for each state. That is rather awkward, and I was astonished at how different the costs were for the same coverage in each state.

I've used Insuremytrip and for the past five cruises. Plan provided exactly what I was looking for. I didn't care about cancellations, delays, etc. - I only wanted to make sure I was covered for medical evacuation and medical surprises.
