Offering the highest coverage limits of the three plans provided by John Hancock, the Gold plan offers the most included coverage as well as optional upgrades. This plan offers Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption, as well as many other coverages including Missed Connection and Itinerary Change. These coverages could come in handy if a covered common carrier delay causes you to miss your cruise departure or if your travel supplier changes your covered trip itinerary after your departure date.

Unfortunately it was necessary for us to file a claim due to an injury. The company representative I spoke with was very polite and helpful. The company processed the claim quickly and returned a check in a timely manner. We are very pleased and would highly recommend this company.

Thankfully I didn't need to use my insurance. It was reassuring to know that I was covered if needed. I will need travel insurance again this summer and will use your company once more.

When I upgraded our cabin, I had to pay almost $100 for my preexisting condition coverage to be continued. I contacted InsureMyTrip who forwarded that information to John Hancock, who did not act on it or respond until prompted by InsureMyTrip. That additional $100 was totally out of line with my initial cost.

To be eligible for the pre-existing conditions waiver on most policies, you must insure for your entire trip cost. Unfortunately, when increasing one's trip cost, it may result in an increase in premium.Dec 18,2013

We had a great time riding passes in the Pyrenees doing many of the famous Tour de France climbs. I felt like our travel insurance was very good for our needs at a very good price. Luckily, we didn't need to use our insurance. We are going to France again next year to ride and we will purchase a similar policy again from John Hancock.
