The only frustration was when we thought we had to submit a claim for lost luggage and was directed to another website. When attempting to input the dollar amount of each item lost, you were unable to just type in the amount. Instead, I had to sit at the computer and repeatedly tap and hold down the key because the dollar amount would only register ONE PENNY at a time. This is ridiculous, time consuming and unnecessary in this day and age of technology. Other than that it was okay.

I was pleased to find this travel insurance available. It was a stretch to pay for but reasonable since we had arranged an airbnb for part of the trip. At our octogenarian ages it seemed necessary. Eight weeks prior to our trip I was thrown from my bicycle and sustained a broken elbow. Emergency surgery and the countdown to departure for the next bicycle tour began and the relief I felt at knowing that we had insurance should I not be able to participate was every bit worth the cost of the insurance. I did, in fact, participate in that following tour and was grateful I was healing as fast as I did. Not everyone might have been as fortunate.

It is difficult to rate a plan when you did not have to file a claim. My ratings would have been far different if I had to file a claim. Ratings would be very positive if the claim was easy to file, processed quickly, and resulted in losses being covered. Any difficulties would have resulted in negative ratings.

I am so disappointed with the fact that you are not assisting us with our loss of time and money. Our trip was delayed because of the airline not because of any fault of our own. Please know that I bought this insurance to make sure if anything happened we would be reimbursed if something happened out of our control. Please review our case again. We lost so much. Thank you, Gail Simpson and Donald Jarvis
