I ended up putting Nationwide to the test by having to file a cancellation claim late in the game as a result of unanticipated knee surgery. Nationwide lived up to their end of the contract in an exemplary way. Filing was simple. All that was required was filling out a short form with one paragraph for the doctor. The claim was processed quickly and paid promptly. I don't see how it could have been handled any better. I really hated to have to cancel this cruise but it was great to have this cruise specific Nationwide policy covering my risk.

flight canceled on way back and trip was delayed getting back for 2 days and due to fine print in policy it paid nothing

This plan gave me great peace of mind knowing I could get help whenever and wherever I needed it. Thank goodness I didn't have to use the services, but just knowing I had this coverage helped me relax and enjoy my vacation.

We were taking 17 people on a week-long cruise so it was imperative that we have coverage in case something were to happen to interrupt or interfere with one of all of our vacation plans. While we were fortunate and didn't have to use the plan, just having complete coverage certainly went a long way to ease the stress I was feeling.
