This is my second purchase from Insure My Trip. Because of emergency surgery of a family member at home during my first trip, I had to change my flight plans, and Insure My Trip fully reimbursed the costs for the new flight. I appreciate the opportunity to compare several different companies and packages at one time and especially for the recommendations from the agents. They listened to me and were very knowledgeable about all the different plans and how my trip would be affected by each plan. They were great to work with!

I'd never purchased trip insurance. Insure My Trip's site is easy to navigate and compare policies. I purchased Global Alert. The week before we left, my husband required surgery and we cancelled our trip. Would the trip insurance pay out? Global Alert did nothing for the first 3 weeks except create a file folder. Really! When I called no one at Global Alert knew when my claim would be reviewed. Come to the rescue Gail and Nicole from Insure My Trip. Just like their website proclaims, they were my advocates helping and pushing to get my claim processed. Global Alert really dragged their feet. The end result! full reimbursement!! I'm sure I would still be waiting if not for Nicole and Gail. We have rebooked our safari and this time purchased an AXA policy via Insure My Trip. Nicole and I discussed which policy would be a good fit and has a better claims processing model. My recommendation: purchase trip insurance through Insure My Trip. They have your back and that's what you want!!
