GeoBlue Voyager Choice
I purchased this insurance for my daughter who was abroad for about a month. Twice during her trip she had some health issues and called the contact number for the insurance. Both times she was given great service and referred to easily accessible health care near her. I am very thankful that she had GeoBlue to reach out to for guidance at those times. I would definitely purchase a plan again for future travels. Thank you all very much.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Plus
While we did not have to use our plan it sure gave us peace of mind knowing that it was there for us,,, Our Camper rental company was surprised when we said "Yes" we had already purchased, as usually they have to try to get customers to buy one on site by using one of their computers... So it sped up the check in process... Thanks again for protecting us, we had a great time in Iceland...

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Essential
The plan was easy to purchase online. Due to an accidental overbooking by our tour company, our travel dates needed to be changed. It completely slipped my mind to change our insurance until we were a couple of weeks away from our departure. They were awesome to work with and with proper documentation from the tour company changed our covered travel dates no problem. They were great at communicating with me and I really appreciate how on top of everything they were. We did not end up needing to file any claims, but it's nice to know we were covered.

    Generali Global Assistance, as do most companies, calculates your Comprehensive premium based on age of traveler, cost of trip and length of trip. In general, you should expect a plan will cost anywhere from 4%-10% of your total pre-paid, nonrefundable trip cost. For example, if you purchased a trip with a total cost of 5000 USD, travel insurance policies available to you will likely range in price from 200-500 USD, depending on variables.

Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection ExactCare
I was very disappointed in the responsiveness of both the representative with Berkshire Hathaway and the staff at insuremytrip. I’ve purchased numerous plans over the years, but will look elsewhere in the future.

    Here is their reply:

    "While our claims team did reply within moments of receiving your email inquiry to indicate that a claims case was opened on your behalf and queued for our claims examiners to review, we apologize that you did not receive a direct answer to your car rental coverage question at that time. However please understand we are unable to provide a determination on coverage until the claim and all required documentation is reviewed. Please note, page 3 of your policy document provides our international phone number to call collect to speak with our claims team during our standard business hours of 8 AM – 8 PM Eastern Standard Time Monday – Friday. Customers can also leave a message if calling after hours and will receive a return call during our next business day. As a result of your concern, our service manager has proactively reached out and discussed your policy information with you. We only find one BHTP policy purchased in your name.
